Do you support a college or department-operated technology space? Do you have an office, huddle room, meeting room, or other area in need of an AV upgrade? Are you looking to enhance the use of a space by adding technology? Our consultation services allow us to collaborate on AV options to meet your needs and budget. 

Technology Services offers various AV packages for meeting spaces, including but not limited to: 

  1. New display with wired screen share (presentation only)
  2. New display with Zoom Room for wireless screen share (presentation only)
  3. New display with Zoom Room for wireless screen share and web-conferencing
  4. Zoom Room for wireless screen share add-on with existing display (presentation only)
  5. Zoom Room for wireless screen share and web conferencing add-on with existing display
  6. Replacement display
 

Zoom Room

A Zoom Room is a software-based video conferencing setup that simplifies the execution of or participation in a Zoom meeting. It integrates the Zoom software platform with physical infrastructure and scheduling software to create a unified experience. An appliance purpose-built for a Zoom Room provides immediate enhancements for simplified installation and management of small and large scale room deployments.

Technology Services offers two Zoom Room options:

  • Z​​​​​​oom Room for wireless screen share (option 2 or 4 above)
  • Zoom Room for wireless screen share and web-conferencing (option 3 or 5 above)

Cost

  • There is no cost for meeting space technology consultation services.
  • AV hardware packages vary in price.

Requirements

  • Several AV packages require a wired ethernet port for network connectivity. The Technology Services team will advise on this specific requirement as part of the consultation.
