VPN: Install the GlobalProtect VPN Client on Windows

1. To connect to the VPN gateway, navigate to https://vpn.villanova.edu and enter your Villanova user ID.
   
    
2. Enter your password.
   
    
3. You will then be prompted for multi-factor authentication by Microsoft Authenticator. 
   
    
4. Select Windows 64 download for your operating system.
   
    
5. Proceed through the prompts to install GlobalProtect until the following prompt shows that the installation was completed.
     
   
   
    
6. Search for GlobalProtect on your machine and the following will pop up. Click Get Started.
   
    
7. For Portal, enter vpn.villanova.edu and then click Connect.
   
   
   
    
8. You will be prompted to sign in with your user name and password.
   
    
9. To confirm that your client is connected, you will see the following in your system tray:
   
    
10. Once work is done on the VPN, please disconnect. Open the client, either from your computer or the system tray and click ‘Disconnect’.
