Overview
This article offers guidance on trimming the beginning or end of a video presentation using the Mediasite web editor. Common scenarios for making this type of edit include instances where an event started late and there is audience chatter to remove, eliminating dead air from lectures that have a break in the middle, and creating shorter clips from longer videos using the "Save to New" feature.
