Sending an email to the wrong person or without including an attachment is an easy mistake to make. Outlook's message recall feature lets you delete a sent message, while the replace features allows you to substitute your previous email with a new/updated one.
There are two important limitations to these features:
- You cannot recall/replace emails sent to a recipient outside our institution (e.g., Gmail or vendor addresses).
- If the recipient has already opened the email, the recall will fail.
