Overview

What is it?

WileyPLUS is Wiley's digital learning platform for courses using an adopted Wiley textbook. It combines the interactive eTextbook (ReadAnywhere), auto-graded homework and practice assignments, adaptive formative practice (ORION), multimedia content, and instructor analytics in a single environment linked to Villanova's LMS.

Who is it for?

Faculty: Build a WileyPLUS course for your adopted Wiley title, configure homework, adaptive practice, and quiz assignments, pair the course with your Villanova LMS, and have grades sync automatically to Brightspace. Monitor student progress through WileyPLUS's analytics dashboard.

Students: Access the Wiley eTextbook (ReadAnywhere — available offline and on mobile), complete homework assignments, work through adaptive ORION practice sessions, and view scores in your Brightspace gradebook. Access is through the LMS course link — no separate WileyPLUS login after initial setup.

Access

Publisher direct access Students access materials direct through the LTI link installed by the professor OR through the link generated by the publisher and shared by the instructor. Students must use school email address when registering at publisher's website.

Authentication

A separate WileyPLUS account is required. Faculty and students create a WileyPLUS account using their Villanova email address. After this one-time account creation and LMS linking step (completed automatically when clicking the WileyPLUS LMS link for the first time), subsequent sessions are handled via SSO from the LMS course link.

Availability

Available for Villanova courses where faculty have adopted a Wiley title that includes WileyPLUS content. Not all Wiley titles have WileyPLUS — confirm with your Wiley representative.

Getting Started / Quick Start

Faculty / Instructor Setup

Create WileyPLUS Course: Log in at wileyplus.com using your Villanova email. Create a new course for your adopted Wiley title. Configure assignment settings, due dates, and attempt policies.
Get Your Integration Code: In WileyPLUS, navigate to your course settings or LMS Integration panel and copy the Integration Code. This code links your WileyPLUS course to your Villanova LMS course.
Add the WileyPLUS Link to Villanova LMS: In Brightspace: Go to Content > Add Existing > More > Wiley Assignments (or Wiley Resourcs)

Use your Integration Code to connect your course.
Deploy Assignment Links: Use deep linking to push individual WileyPLUS assignments as direct links in your Brightspace content modules. Confirm that grade columns appear in the LMS gradebook for each graded activity.
Verify Grade Sync: Use Student Preview/Student View in your LMS to test a WileyPLUS link and confirm grade passback is working before the semester begins.

Student Setup

Click the WileyPLUS link in your Villanova Brightspace course. Create a WileyPLUS account using your Villanova email address on first access — your LMS and WileyPLUS accounts are linked automatically.
Purchase or redeem a WileyPLUS access code from the Villanova Bookstore, directly at wileyplus.com, or through Inclusive Access. Your instructor will specify the required access model in the syllabus.
Complete assignments through the LMS course links. Grades sync automatically to your Villanova Brightspace gradebook. Download the ReadAnywhere app for mobile eTextbook access.
