This article provides instructions for installing the vPrint by Vasion client on MacOS devices.
Requirements
Safari browser compatibility known issues
For the best user experience, Technology Services recommends installing the Vasion application using either Edge, Chrome, or Firefox. The Safari browser requires additional configuration and is less reliable.
Instructions
- You can install the Vasion client from https://software.villanova.edu or https://villanova.printercloud.com. Instructions for the software portal install can be found within that site. If installing from the PrinterCloud.com site, enter your Villanova credentials (if required) and click the Install button when prompted.
- Choose the browser you want to install the extension for.
- When prompted, click Add Extension.
- When prompted, click Add Extension.
- Go back to the main Vasion webpage and refresh your browser. Select the option that best suits your Mac.
- Run the client setup file.
- If prompted, close running browsers.
- Select Close when the installation is completed.
- Refresh your browser and sign in with your Villanova credentials. If prompted for a code, enter 4h1z4k4b
- Click the Student Printer folder, then select the vPrint printer object.
- Select Yes when prompted.
- Click OK when finished.
- You can now choose vPrint by Vasion as your printer when sending jobs from your device. Jobs will be held in a secure release queue until released from any student print station on campus.
