1. To connect to the VPN gateway, navigate to https://vpn.villanova.edu and enter your credentials that you were given when your account was created.
2. Enter your password.
3. You will then be prompted to multifactor with Duo.
4. Select the Mac 32/64 bit GlobalProtect agent download for your macOS operating system.
5. Complete the GlobalProtect app setup using the GlobalProtect Installer. From the GlobalProtect Installer, click Continue.
6. On the Destination Select screen, select the installation folder for the GlobalProtect app, and then click Continue.
7. On the Installation Type screen, select the GlobalProtect installation and GlobalProtect System extensions check boxes. Click Continue.
8. Click Install to confirm that you want to install GlobalProtect.
9. When prompted, enter your User Name and Password, and then click Install Software to begin the installation.
10. Once successfully installed, select KEEP installer.
11. Search for GlobalProtect on your machine and the following will pop up. Click Get Started.
12. For Portal, enter vpn.villanova.edu and then click Connect.
13. Sign in with your user name email and password.
14. When the app connects in external mode, the GlobalProtect system tray icon displays a shield ( 
), and Connected appears when you hover over the icon.
15. Select Allow in the following notifications pop-up prompt:
