- To connect to the VPN gateway, navigate to https://vpn.villanova.edu and enter your credentials that you were given when your account was created.
- Enter your password.
- You will then be prompted to multifactor with Duo.
- Select the Mac 32/64 bit GlobalProtect agent download for your macOS operating system.
- Complete the GlobalProtect app setup using the GlobalProtect Installer. From the GlobalProtect Installer, click Continue.
- On the Destination Select screen, select the installation folder for the GlobalProtect app, and then click Continue.
- On the Installation Type screen, select the GlobalProtect installation and GlobalProtect System extensions check boxes. Click Continue.
- Click Install to confirm that you want to install GlobalProtect.
- When prompted, enter your User Name and Password, and then click Install Software to begin the installation.
- Once successfully installed, select KEEP installer.
- Search for GlobalProtect on your machine and the following will pop up. Click Get Started.
- For Portal, enter vpn.villanova.edu and then click Connect.
- Sign in with your user name email and password.
- When the app connects in external mode, the GlobalProtect system tray icon displays a shield (
), and Connected appears when you hover over the icon.
- Select Allow in the following notifications pop-up prompt:
