Before you can connect your Android endpoint to the GlobalProtect network, you must download and install the app. If you do not already have the GlobalProtect app on your Android endpoint, you can download it from Google Play.
After you download and install the app, you will be using a portal address of "vpn.villanova.edu" to connect. In addition, you will need to authenticate with your Villanova username and password and approve a DUO MFA prompt. Please keep in mind, access to Villanova resources is limited on mobile devices. To access secure servers and applications, please connect to VPN using a Villanova-issued device.
After you gather the required information, you can download and install the app as follows:
- Launch Google Play.
- Search for GlobalProtect.
- From the search results, select GlobalProtect.
- From the GlobalProtect app product page, tap Install.
- When prompted, review and Accept the information for which GlobalProtect needs access.
