Description
A shared email account (Type 2) allows multiple people to access and manage the same mailbox, enabling them to send emails from a single, consistent address. This type of account is ideal for providing a public-facing email address, which can enhance branding and ensure continuity when projects or responsibilities are transferred to new team members.
A shared mailbox can also be used in scenarios in which a third party application needs to be able to send email from a @villanova.edu account.
