Declaration Changes
Student declaration is required to officially enact any change to a student's curriculum. Addition/removal of majors, minors, or concentrations are considered Declaration Changes.
Undergraduate students who wish to make a declaration change should be directed to the Undergraduate Change of Major, Minor, Concentration Form found under Important Forms. Undergraduate curricular changes should not be submitted on the students’ behalf, as it is critical the appropriate workflows are followed.
Classification Changes
A modification to a student's academic record that affects how the student is classified or tracked within university systems. This includes changes to student attributes, student type, catalog year, or other institutional classifications that do not alter the student's declared academic program (major, minor, concentration, or degree).
If there are changes to be made to student attribute, student type, or student’s catalog year, those should be submitted by the college using the Change to Student Academic Record form.
