WeVideo: Collaborating on interactive assessments

Overview

This article explains how to collaborate with other instructors in WeVideo and how to reuse existing content from the Content Library. Collaboration allows you to co-create interactive assignments, share best practices, and efficiently adapt existing instructional materials.

Requirements

  • Please see the device requirements listed in our knowledge article, "WeVideo: Overview".
  • You must be a current Villanova faculty or staff member with an active WeVideo account with content created and available to use
  • If prompted, please have your mobile device handy for a Duo push notification during Villanova single sign-on. For more details, please refer to "Duo: Getting Started".

Known Issues & Troubleshooting

My collaborator cannot access my content: Verify you have entered the correct email address and chosen the appropriate permission level.

I'm unable to edit a shared video: Ensure you were granted Can edit permissions. Contact the video owner to update your access level.

I can't find my desired content in Content Library: Use filters to refine your search or try broader or alternative keywords. Ensure you were given collaboration permissions to the content.
