Description

Nursing IT provides dedicated technology support for the M. Louise Fitzpatrick College of Nursing. The team offers deskside and concierge support for Nursing faculty and staff, as well as administration and support for Nursing-specific educational and simulation technologies.

General Technology Support

Nursing IT provides comprehensive technology support for Nursing faculty and staff. Services include deskside and concierge assistance, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, workstation setup and deployment, printer and peripheral support, account and access assistance, classroom and instructional technology support, consultation on technology solutions, and coordination with University Technology Services and third-party vendors to resolve complex issues.

Nursing-Specific Technology Support

  • ExamSoft / Examplify: ExamSoft is a digital assessment platform used to create, deliver, and manage examinations securely. It supports exam administration, grading, analytics, and exam integrity features. Examplify is the secure testing application used by students to download exams, lock down device access during testing, and upload completed exams upon completion.
  • SimCapture: A healthcare simulation management platform that records, manages, assesses, and supports debriefing of simulation-based training. SimCapture integrates video, audio, simulator data, learner evaluations, scheduling, reporting, and analytics into a single platform.
  • Lumeto InvolveXR: An AI-powered virtual reality and screen-based simulation platform that allows learners to practice clinical, communication, and decision-making skills through realistic healthcare scenarios and virtual patient interactions.
  • SimConverse: An AI-powered conversational learning platform that enables nursing students to practice patient interviews, clinical communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills through realistic virtual patient interactions and guided simulation experiences.
