Description

The vDesktop environment through Apporto provides secure access to university applications and the Villanova network. vDesktop is stateless, meaning that data is not persistent and, if needed, should be backed up in a location such as OneDrive.
The vDesktop environment may be helpful if you:
- Teach a class that requires specialty software that cannot be installed on student computers
- Are a student, looking to access the software required for coursework

Note: The applications within the Engineering - Virtual Desktop are only accessible to the faculty teaching or students enrolled in engineering courses.
