Mediasite

Description

Mediasite is a video capture tool available to anyone with an active Villanova account. Video recordings can be created through automated lecture capture using Hardware Recorders in select on-campus locations, the Mediasite Capture screen-recording tool, or by uploading external video files. Mediasite content can then be shared from your MyMediasite account to your LMS course page, embedded on a web page, or via a direct link.

Audience

Requesting

  • Report Mediasite Issue if you’re experiencing technical issues with viewing or sharing Mediasite content. You can also use this option if you need to report technical issues with MyMediasite, the Mediasite Capture application, and Mediasite Classroom Lecture Capture.

  • Submit Mediasite Request if you have a general question regarding Mediasite. You can also use this option to schedule training for yourself or a group, create new folders or channels for your account, add teaching teams as authorized viewers to your course recordings, or locate any missing or misplaced videos.

Submit Event Recording Request
Please submit this form to request an event recording in an on-campus location. Please submit one form per event to ensure your request is accommodated. You will have options to include a livestream component, publish your recording to Mediasite or YouTube, and upload flyers or release forms.
Mediasite Single Lecture Recording
Please submit this form to request a single lecture classroom recording in an on-campus location. You will have the opportunity to choose your recording format and preset the viewing permissions for this recording.
Submit St. Thomas of Villanova Livestream Request
Please complete this form to request a livestream in the St. Thomas of Villanova Church. You will receive an email confirmation and an access link once it has been scheduled.
