Mediasite is the university's secure enterprise lecture capture and video delivery platform. Mediasite serves three critical functions at Villanova:
- desktop recording for training or course content via the Mediasite Mosaic application
- content upload and sharing via MyMediasite
- lecture and event capture in select campus spaces
Mediasite's automated lecture capture is available in over 80 classrooms on campus. The system records the room's video, audio, and computer output displayed on the projector, providing secure delivery of classroom and faculty-created video content for in-person and online courses and programs. Mediasite also provides limited audience live streaming for events, academic lectures, and church services. Most Mediasite capable classrooms are part of the University's Universal Lecture Capture (ULC) program.
You can request to have individual classes or events recorded via Mediasite by submitting an online request form on the Request a Recording page.

This service is available to all Faculty and Staff and Students.

How to Access and Use
Members of the Villanova community can access and upload content to Mediasite via MyMediasite located at https://vums-web.villanova.edu/mediasite/mymediasite Additionally faculty can share videos recorded in the classroom or via their desktop in Blackboard or via a direct link.
