UNIT's TechZone locations are staffed with over 25 student consultants who work cooperatively with full time professional staff for all Hardware, Software, and Technical problems students may have with their personal laptop and other on-campus computing experiences.

D2L-Brightspace will be Villanova University's new learning management system (LMS) for all courses starting with the Summer 2026 semester and can be accessed at brightspace.villanova.edu. D2L-Brightspace allows faculty and students to access course content, complete learning activities such as assignments & quizzes, provide grades & feedback, as well as offer additional modern, innovative learning technologies to use in courses.

Mediasite is a lecture capture tool available to all Villanova faculty, staff, and students. Mediasite recordings can be posted on your LMS course page, embedded on a web page, or shared with your audience via a direct link. Mediasite recordings are created with Hardware Recorders in select classrooms, screen recording with Mediasite Mosaic, or external media upload.
