vDesktop is Technology Services' virtual desktop technology that provides access to a high-performing virtual machine through a variety of devices.

Eduroam's wireless guest network is designed to allow active students, faculty, and staff to use their home institution's credentials to connect wirelessly and securely to the Internet while visiting other participating institutions. To access, this network, please sign in with your university email address and corresponding password.

D2L-Brightspace will be Villanova University's new learning management system (LMS) for all courses starting with the Summer 2026 semester and can be accessed at brightspace.villanova.edu. D2L-Brightspace allows faculty and students to access course content, complete learning activities such as assignments & quizzes, provide grades & feedback, as well as offer additional modern, innovative learning technologies to use in courses.


Nova Bucks is a restricted spending debit account that is on your Wildcard. It allows you to enjoy the convenience of purchasing power across campus and the immediate surrounding community without the need to carry cash.


Microsoft Outlook is Villanova university's primary email and calendaring application.


As part of Villanova’s continuing efforts to enhance data protection, the University requires multi-factor authentication to access critical web-based Villanova resources (such as MyNova, Brightspace, Zoom, and Microsoft 365).


UKG Ready is Villanova University’s time and attendance platform.


GlobalProtect, Villanova University’s Virtual Private Network (VPN), securely connects you to private or restricted online services on the Villanova network from off-campus locations. Visit the VPN: Getting Started page for assistance with setup and installation of GlobalProtect.


XFINITY On Campus provides Villanova students (living on campus) the ability to live-stream TV directly to any computer or mobile streaming device. Students can view content on-demand or watch live from a pre-selected line-up of channels.

Classroom Technologies provides various services for classroom AV support, training, interactive pen displays, document cameras, and DVD players. For immediate assistance in a classroom, call Technology Services at 9-7777 and select option 1 for the Classroom Support Hotline.


Adobe Creative Cloud is a set of applications and services from that gives access to a collection of software used for graphic design, video editing, web development, photography, and some other niche services.


As part of Villanova’s continuing efforts to enhance data protection, the University requires Microsoft Authenticator multifactor authentication (MFA) to access critical web-based Villanova resources (such as MyNova, Brightspace, Zoom, and Microsoft 365).


High-performing wired network connectivity is available in administrative and academic spaces across campus, where necessary. The university is moving away from wired connections and towards being a Wireless First campus.


Zoom Meetings is the university's web conferencing solution, allowing you to host virtual meetings with video and audio.
